Where there is surf, surely there must be turf?  One Pico’s grilled New York Steak will make you forget about seafood for a little while.   The chef likes his medium – but it’s your grill, so do it your own way.  Grill heat can be a little tricky so feel free to email the chef  if you need some pointers.

New York Steak (medium)

•  Season steak with salt and pepper
•  Grill over high heat for about 4 min on each side
•  Let rest for about 5 min
•  Brush with olive oil and grill again for 2 min on each side over medium heat
•  Serve with watercress salad, sliced tomatoes and salsa verde
